The Deb InstantFOAM® formula is a liquid that is dispensed as a foam. This ensures there are many unique benefits compared with alcohol hand sanitisers that are dispensed as a gel: up to 10 times more effective, people like it, no sticky after feel, quicker application, no mess, spreads easily, non-clogging, reduced risk of slips, no residual build-up and effervescence.

Up to 10 times more effective — Independent laboratory tests prove that Deb InstantFOAM® is efficacious to 99.999% against most germs and bacteria. Many alcohol gels claim efficacy at 99.99%. This means that Deb InstantFOAM® is 10X more efficacious than many alcohol gels.

People like it — In studies, 84% of users preferred Deb InstantFOAM® to traditional gel. Providing products that people like will result in higher frequency usage and thus the many benefits associated with proper hand hygiene.

No sticky after feel — Traditional gel style alcohol hand sanitisers feature polymer thickening agents and other ingredients that can result in a “sticky” feeling after application. Deb InstantFOAM® does not require polymer thickeners and therefore leaves no sticky feel.

Quicker application — Complete coverage and rub-in is achieved using Deb InstantFOAM® alcohol in less time than that required to spread and rub-in a traditional gel.

No mess — Deb InstantFOAM® is dispensed as a foam and remains this way on the hands during the application. Alcohol gel products liquefy almost on contact with the hands, making it very difficult to manage the application without spilling or splashing.

Spreads easily — Each application of Deb InstantFOAM® contains 1000’s of marble shaped bubbles that roll over the skin for an easy application. Gel style products simply smear over the hand, requiring a more concerted effort to complete total coverage.

Non-clogging — The various ingredients used to thicken gel hand sanitisers tend to accumulate on the tip of the dispenser and pump resulting in clogging and unpredictable dispensing, sometimes “shooting” product on to walls and floors. Since Deb InstantFOAM® contains no thickening agents the risk of clogging is eliminated.

Reduced risk of “slips, trips and falls” — Deb InstantFOAM® is dispensed in an appropriate portion and the foam appearance provides a visual cue to prevent excessive dispensing. Alcohol gel products are typically dispensed in much larger doses and the gel appearance makes it more difficult to determine the proper amount required, often leading to over application with the excess landing on floors, creating a potentially dangerous slip hazard for passers-by.

No residual build-up on skin — Like the problem of accumulated ingredients on the tip of the dispenser mentioned earlier, the same accumulation can occur on skin as a result of multiple applications. Each application of alcohol gel potentially adds another layer of thickening agents to skin, trapping dirt and germs. Deb InstantFOAM® has no thickening ingredients and therefore multiple applications will not lead to a build up on the skin.

Effervescence — The refreshing bursting action of the 1000’s of Deb InstantFOAM® bubbles help loosen dirt and dead skin cells that can harbour germs and bacteria. The static state of alcohol gel merely covers over the skin, trapping dirt and dead skin cells.
