Germs and bacteria are Team Soaperheroes arch enemy; they’re everywhere and come in all shapes and sizes. To stay healthy and stop the spread of ‘bad’ germs and bacteria, we must all wash our hands regularly. If we don’t wash our hands, these germs could make us poorly. Soaperman and Soapergirl want to help you learn more about different types of germs. THE GERM FAMILY
Is a viral infection affecting the lungs and airways.

Bacteria are frequently found in the intestines of humans and animals. The bacterium is found in faeces and can survive in the environment and can cause a range of infections.
Causes food poisoning. Often pick it up from raw or undercooked meat, especially poultry or unpasteurised milk and untreated water.
Known as the German measles. Spreads by direct contact with an infected person or droplet spread.
