Video features effective handwashing techniques ahead of Global Handwashing Day
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Oct. 11, 2019 – SC Johnson Professional®, a total solutions provider for industrial, institutional and healthcare users, has released a handwashing how-to video to celebrate Global Handwashing Day, Oct. 15. The 59-second video features step-by-step instructions on proper techniques for effective handwashing.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), handwashing education can help communities stay healthy by:
- Reducing the number of people who get sick with diarrhea by 23-40 percent[i], [ii], [iii]
- Reducing diarrheal illness in people with weakened immune systems by 58 percent[iv]
